The design of the tear sheet calendar and the 18 illustrations in it were created on the basis of archaic Lithuanian festivals and other important days in the cycle of nature, as well as folk customs. The ethnographic names of the months were chosen to be used in the calendar. The aim is coherence between contemporary design elements and motifs from classical graphic art and painting.
