Interior design project for special education facilities

Vilnius Design College
Associate professor: Dr. Doc. Linas Krūgelis

The goal of this work is to design multisensory spaces in the Vilnius Gerosios Vilties pro-gymnasium. Inspiration was taken from wild meadows, where you can feel all five human senses. A wild meadow is formed by various flora and fauna. In the animal kingdom, butterflies have been singled out as representative insects. Intricate wing structures, bright colours and butterfly patterns inspired the spatial solutions and decor elements of the interior design project. By incorporating these natural elements, the design aim was to create a visually stimulating and engaging environment that would resonate with children and enhance their sensory experience.
