Barbecue grill / oven

The task was to create a compact and portable barbecue grill / oven for baking and heating, as well as a social dimension, and which besides the purpose of food making could also function as an object of warmth, cosiness and a magnet for socialising, continuing the archaic traditions of the hearth. The bottom and the case of the barbecue grill / oven are made of fireclay and the cooking grid is made of stainless steel. The grid is made using the motifs of a distaff in Lithuanian folk art.
