The title of the collection Wafuku in Japanese means ‘clothes of Japanese style’. The aim of the work is to create a collection of male leisure clothes that reflect the influence of Japanese culture on Western culture. With this aim in mind three segments are used: a free, sporty male silhouette, motifs from 18th century Japanese fabrics, and the form of a hexagon.
