Militarism in contemporary fashion design – a creative interpretation of functionality and illustrativeness

War in modern society sounds like an extremely cruel utopian concept, but unfortunately it is an everyday reality for some people. The topic of this bachelor’s degree and collection is inspired by current events and the stories of relatives about fighters for Lithuania’s freedom in the family and the militaristic uniforms of my grandfather and father. The collection reflects functional militarism for the modern person and creatively interprets and conveys a message about the damage of war to man and his clothing.
