Arūnas Sukarevičius is a design graduate of Vilnius Academy of Arts. His final bachelor project was a chair with pockets, which won the main prize in the „Young Designer Prize 2011” competition. A. Sukarevičius continued his studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Arts in Copenhagen and together with designer Inesa Malafej founded their own design studio “etc.etc”. The duo of designers, creating new design objects, furniture and interior details, successfully cooperates with Lithuanian companies and famous foreign manufacturers. Several of their works have been recognized with prestigious “iF” and “Red Dot” design awards. According to Arūnas: “In our work we hold a deep respect to the crafts, traditions, and evolution of every object. Together with this we are constantly looking for the next step in making them new, better, different, adapting it for today’s environment, technology and society”.
