Social Initiative „Be ryšio”

Quality relationships are among the strongest predictors of a happy life, yet in public spaces we rarely speak to strangers, sharing the same space without any pretext for conversation. „Be ryšio” (No Connection) is a social initiative that uses visual language to encourage real human connections. Its central design object is a coffee cup sleeve – a band around the cup for takeaway, or a flat card for those staying in. The sleeves fall into three categories: questions, tasks, and games, each offering a different mode of interaction with a person nearby. The system adapts to other public spaces: bars, co-working, events.
