In this experimental clothing collection inspired by technological innovations I use deconstructed elements of microchips and classical suit tailoring. The aim of this collection is to show how human beings and their outfits will merge, becoming a wearable part of a smart environment. The microchip is used as a print pattern, a constructive detail; belts, eyelets are the wires and transistors. There was also a focus on garment construction, with reminiscences of a tailcoat. This collection shows not the futuristic perspective of the year 2093, but its symbolic value. It is also a century after my birthday, which makes all of it deeply personal and the timeframe itself a symbolic of the coming new age.
