ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Young Designer Prize is an annual competition organized since 2011 with young designers competing for the awards every year. The main aim is to encourage the professional development of design students, providing them with an opportunity to present their ideas outside the Academy.
AWARD CEREMONY AND EXHIBITION
At the award ceremony the best young designers are announced and presented with diplomas and sponsor prizes. After the ceremony, the doors to the exhibition with all the finalists are open. During the exhibition the visitors can participate in educational workshops, guided tours and learn more about design.
CATEGORIES
Product, fashion, communication, interior design and design research.
PRIZE
The jury selects one winner for each category who wins the main prize of EUR 1000 and a diploma.

JURY
The winners and exhibitors are selected by a jury of design professionals from abroad. The jury judges the entries according to four main criteria: originality, relevance, the potential of the idea to become real and the way the concept is presented.
